1 All data that has been gathered via the application software is stored in the Urban Collect database on a secure Dutch server that is set up and managed by our developer. However, Urban Collect cannot guarantee that personal information provided cannot be intercepted by others.

2 Urban Collect ensures that the use of the data that is stored is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect on 25 May 2018 in Europe.

3 Urban Collect processes personal data of the User because the User makes use of our services and/or these data are provided to Urban Collect voluntarily and without obligation. Below is an overview of the personal data that Urban Collect processes:

- E-mailadress;

- First and last name

- Gender

- Favorite shopping city.

4 Urban Collect processes the personal data for the following purposes:

– to offer the possibility to create an account;

– to deliver goods and services;

– to contact you to perform the service;

– to inform about the changes concerning Urban Collect services;

– Provide anonymized data to our customers.

5 When visiting our website www.urbancollect.nl, Urban Collect can collect information from the User about the use of the website by means of technical, functional and analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit the website. The cookies that Urban Collect uses are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and your ease of use.

6 Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, Urban Collect cannot always check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that Urban Collect has collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us via [email protected] and we will delete this information.

7 Urban Collect will keep the data and information that the User provides to Urban Collect carefully and confidentially. Urban Collect takes the protection of your data seriously. Urban Collect takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact [email protected].

8 Urban Collect will not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. Our retention period is not time-bound, but dependent on active/inactive user status. Urban Collect keeps the data as long as the user is active. If that user is inactive/deleted, the data will also be deleted.

9 Urban Collect does not share data with third parties for commercial purposes. Urban Collect will share these if this is to comply with a legal obligation.

10 If Urban Collect is obliged to provide confidential information to third parties on the basis of a legal provision or a court decision, and Urban Collect cannot invoke a legal right of non-disclosure recognized or permitted by the competent court in this regard, Urban Collect is Collect is not obliged to pay damages or compensation. The User is also not entitled to dissolve the Agreement on the basis of any damage that has arisen as a result.

11 The User has the right to view, change or delete the personal data. The User can realize this via his personal settings of his account. If the User is unable to change his data, the User can contact [email protected]. Urban Collect will respond to this request within four weeks.

12 Indien de Urban Collect gebruiker spaart bij een Urban Collect locatie worden de accountgegevens van de gebruiker gedeeld met de desbetreffende locatie. Mogelijk ontvangt de gebruiker marketing e-mails van de desbetreffende Urban Collect locatie.

13 Middels de Urban Collect app kan de gebruiker zich afmelden voor de marketing e-mails. Indien de gebruiker zich afmeldt worden de gegevens door de desbetreffende locatie verwijderd. Deze afspraak dat de gegevens worden verwijderd door de locatie is opgenomen in de voorwaarden die de aangesloten locaties aangaan met Urban Collect.
